Greetings, Listmasters!

If you're looking for a place to advertise your lists without alot of hassle, this is the place you are looking for.

You may promote as many of your lists, whether announcement / newsletter / or chat lists at our site as you'd like.

No lists are allowed that are purely for selling things. No MLM, Amway, or other product related list.

Your ad will be placed in one, or perhaps several, of the categories that you see in the table at the top of the page.

Category pages will have the ads rotated every two weeks to let the bottom folks get better exposure.

For Categories with multiple pages, those PAGES will also be swapped around every 2 weeks. So, for example, if your ad is on the second page of the FREEBIES category, which has two pages, it will be on the first page two weeks later.

So what do YOU have to do in exchange? You only need to run ONE short ad in each of your promoted lists ONCE a week for this website. Pretty easy, huh?

Rules

ADS

You send in an ad for each of your lists that you want promoted.
Ads MUST conform to our standards.
Ads SHOULD have your list's website address AND an email signup adddress.
No more than 12 lines including title and blank lines.
Text or HTML, with any font, colored or otherwise, is perfectly fine.
Font SIZE will be adjusted by us to fit the format of the page.
Headers, graphics, highlighting, underscoring, faders, backgrounds etc. will not be permitted.

Keep it simple, stressing what you have & why your list is DIFFERENT than the others. Don't go overboard with description...that's why there's a link to your list's webpage. They can get ALL the info there.

You may update your ads once a month if you desire. Or not. That's up to you.

Multiple similar lists
If you have a bunch of similar groups, say for recipes or tags, only promote ONE of them, please. I'm sure you promote your other groups within your own lists. Once you get new members you can tell them about the "Corned Beef Cracker Jacks Recipes" group from your main recipe group.

There ARE exceptions to this, such as if you have a clean humor list & an adult humor list. Or if you have only have two seperate humor lists for military and doctor humor. Then feel free to promote them all.

NOTE to AOL Listmasters.
Include your ENTIRE email address in the signup link, including the @aol.com
Do note that surfers from all over will be signing up, NOT just AOL folks.
Nobody else has a CLUE what a TOS is, or why they would need a Disclaimer.
When you get an application, and the surfer is from AOL, you can send them the Disclaimer and all that jazz.
So a signup addy something like this is suggested...

YOUR PART OF THE DEAL

ONCE a Week, in EACH of the lists that you have at our site, you need to include a simple ad promoting this website. You MAY run more ads if you desire, but once a week is necessary.

Each Sunday you will receive an announcement (from the below mentioned maillist), with a suggested ad to run. You may use that ad, or choose one from our page of ads HERE.

You may even make up an ad of your own. You know your list members the best, so it may be to everyone's advantage to make something that targets your own audience. You may either send the surfers to our MAIN page, or to any Subject page you desire. So, for example, if yours is a Music swapping list, you may direct your surfers to the page with other Music lists.

When you send out the ad to your list, simply put THIS address in your BCC so that we get a copy.
